A special edition of The Devastation of Baal novel. The story follows the Blood Angels army for Warhammer 40,000, in which they are under threat from an alien invasion. This army’s iconography leans into classic Christian motifs, known for their angelic visages, chalices and extreme views on perfection and cleansing blood. Their army colours are red and black with gold highlighting in a gothic style. With this in mind I illustrated a cover that screamed Blood Angels, utilizing the imagery they are best known for, including the mask design of their leader, with gothic architecture nods to house all the elements. 

This book had a limited run and sold out within its first week of release.
